once you get past the quality of the recording, it is well worth a listen. hope you find at least a couple moments of inspiration from this forum show.

'73 remains my key year (born September '73) -- i call that period for the band Pastoral Dead -- the jams are epic, the vibe an amazing mix of sophisticated, jazz-fueled explorations of rootsy American themes: i imagine a hippy commune on a tall grass plain having a barn raising, it is the end of the day, the barn is raised, a meal has been prepared and shared, and now it's time to celebrate and have a dance -- some of the boys are gonna play some music:
